Non-Free 200 Training with Coach Ryan – Tue 3/16/21

Warmup:
200 reverse IM, kick-drill by 25
12 x 50: 3 of each stroke (kick, drill, swim)

2 to 4 Rounds – choice, but a given round needs to be all one stroke:
4 x 50 on “cruise” (see below)
2 x 100 on +5
200
descend effort by swim. OK to take extra rest between each line.
interval should give you enough rest to go fast.
example if your 200 goal time is 2:20:
do the 50s on :50 (come in on :35, get about 15 seconds rest)
do the 100s on 1:45 (come in on 1:10)
try to hit 2:20 on your 200

Pulling Set:
400, every 4th length non-free
8 x 50 choice
