Holiday Party: Our fabulous and fun Holiday Party will be held December 8th starting at 6:30pm. Location is Shoup Park in Los Altos. Here’s the link to sign up: Mountain View Masters Holiday Party

Holiday Charity Event: As we have done in the past we will be doing a charitable drive for Hope’s Corner and collecting
a) new men’s socks, underwear and t-shirts
and/or
b) new and unused travel size toiletries: shave cream, deodorant, disposable razors, small shampoos and nail clippers/nail care sets.

A note from the board on late arrivals: Step away from that snooze button! We’ve seen an increase in tardiness to practice in the last few weeks. While it may be difficult to always make it on time, please note we are a team, and we swim as a team. Adhering to a schedule allows coaches to make adjustments to lanes and pacing, and allows members to swim their best sets. Please be courteous…arrive on time! Treating practices as open lap swim is not in the spirit of our mission, and gets more difficult as we grow to nearly 200 swimmers. Both early birds and latecomers may be asked to utilize the small pool to avoid disruptions. Thank you for your help on this matter.
Renew your USMS membership: You all have been doing great! To date we have over 80 MVMers who have renewed their USMS membership. For those who have not registered yet I’m sorry to keep harping on this but it’s a liability issue. You won’t be able to swim starting January 1 if you have not re-registered. If you sign up with a team other than MVM, could you let me know? That makes it easier to verify your status, and we will be checking. Thanks for your help.
