Hi MVMers,
Happy Hour: Our upcoming happy hour event will be July 23rd at Agave on Castro Street in Mountain View. No sign up necessary. We’ll start at 5:30. Look for us in the back, outdoor patio.
Swim ‘n Schmear: Our next Swim ‘n Schmear will be Saturday, August 1st poolside during the Saturday swim workout. Eat bagels ‘n schmear with your fellow MVMers after you swim.
SUMMER CROWDS: We’re at “peak membership” here in the summer months with highest attendance at our workouts, particularly Wed/Fri at 7am and sometimes at 6am. Please be considerate of your teammates and our coaches!
- LATE ARRIVALS: If you arrive to the pool after the drill set has begun (:10 after the hour) the coach will decide where it’s appropriate for you to swim. Please cooperate with coaches’ requests to minimize disruption for those who arrived on time.
- CONSIDER LESS CROWDED WORKOUTS: If crowded lanes are undesirable to you, there’s lighter crowds at our earlier workouts (especially 5am), Monday evening workouts, Tuesday/Thursday workouts, and most weekend workouts!
MVM Alcatraz Swim 2026: If you are thinking of signing up for the Alcatraz swim then you might want to do it sooner rather than later because the deadline is coming up. It’s open to MVM swimmers, friends, and family. Got questions? Catch a coach on deck — they’ll hook you up with everything you need to know.
📅 Date: September 12, 2026 ⏰ Time: Around 7:30am (exact departure TBD — stay tuned!) 🚢 How: Private chartered boat 💰 Cost: $210/swimmer
