Membership and Fees

Membership Dues as of January 1, 2026 are $53/month per swimmer.

  • Dues are billed in the later half of the current month (from the 15th-31st) and pay for the next month in full. You will see the bill from PayPal as “Shoreline Aquatics.”
  • If you need to temporarily suspend membership, you may only do so for a 1 month pause at a time. Email us at treasurermvm@gmail.com to suspend. If you want a longer period, you will be required to join our waiting list when requesting to resume membership.
  • Cancellations and suspensions must be received before the 15th of the month in order to prevent charges for the next month. Email us at treasurermvm@gmail.com to cancel. There are no refunds for partial months.
  • There will be no refunds for closures caused by weather, facilities or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Workout schedules may change due to local restrictions, facility issues, or staffing availability.
  • Drop-in swimmers are not granted membership privileges. You will not receive team communications or be permitted to participate in social events. As we are swimming close to capacity, kindly limit your drop-ins to 4 or less per month.  See policy below.

Membership Requirements:

  • All members are required to register with USMS. Annual USMS fees are separate from local team dues.
  • All members are required to abide by our Code of Conduct at all times.
  • Mountain View Masters welcomes swimmers of all levels, but is not a learn-to-swim program. All potential members must be able to swim at least 50 yards  freestyle without stopping. (This is one lap, to the wall and back again.) If you are looking for a learn-to-swim program, please contact the City of Mountain View Aquatics Department where adult learn-to-swim programs are periodically offered.
  • We strongly encourage our swimmers, spectators and staff to be fully up-to-date with their vaccinations, including those for COVID. View our policy here.
