Each day of the week has a different focus:
Monday – Threshold freestyle
Tuesday – Non-free
Wednesday – Mid-distance freestyle
Thursday – IM
Friday – Speed/sprint
Saturday – A little bit of everything
Sunday – Distance freestyle

During certain seasons, swimmers at the first workout are expected to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to help pull covers. Swimmers at the last workout may be asked to help cover the pool when we finish.

Locker rooms close 10 minutes after workouts and all swimmers must leave the facility. Please be courteous of our coaches’ time.

There is basic gear provided by MVM including kickboards, bouys and a variety of paddles. Swimmers are encouraged to label and bring their favorites: boards, fins, paddles, pull bouys, etc. Nearly all workouts can be performed without gear or modified if you have none.
