About that 1650 thing… with Chris

warm up:

600 choice

drill set (sort of)

11×150, with 15 sec rest

#1-2 swim, descend 1-2

#3 kick

#4-5 swim, descend 4-5

#6 kick

#7-8 swim, descend 7-8

#9 kick

#10-11 swim, descend 10-11

main set (if you want to think of it that way):

part 1:

3 rounds of:

1×50 fast kick

10 sec rest

1×500 even pace

30 sec rest between rounds.  Extra credit if you descend the 500s 1-3.

part 2:

1×1650 swim or pull

Breathing in the following pattern, 11 times :  1×25 breathing to the right side/1×25 breathing to the left/50 breathing every 3rd stroke/50 breathing in your regular pattern.  Pay attention to the differences in the symmetry and balance of your stroke.
