More on that whole stroke balance and symmetry thing with Chris, Misa and Kate

warm up:

rd 1: breathe only to your left side

rd 2: breathe only to your right side

rd 3: your choice

1×200, breathing 25 left side/25 right side

1×300, breathing bilaterally

15 sec rest between each swim.

The focus on this set is not speed or intensity. It’s trying to get a sense of stroke imbalance or asymmetry. How does your breathing pattern affect these? If such things are there, how do you correct them? Fins, paddles and pulling gear are all welcome on this set, since the breathing patterns are the points of emphasis.
