Hi MVMers, summer has arrived! Here’s the latest:
MVM Summer BBQ: Save the date for our annual summer BBQ/picnic, which will be Sunday July 13 at Cuesta Park. We’ll have the grill going if you want to put something on for yourself. MVM will supply soft drinks. Bring something to share. Bring friends, partners, spouses, or kids. Lot’s of room to run around for the little ones. We’re in a park!
Monday Evening Swim Practices: Please note, we don’t have access to the locker rooms prior to our practice due to the LAMVAC swimmers. They need time to change. We will be allowed in the locker rooms around 10 minutes into our practice.
MVM Alcatraz Swim: Since 2022, MVM has organized an annual open water swim for MVM swimmers, friends and family in the Bay Area. We have done the Alcatraz swim a couple of times as well as the Golden Gate swim. For 2025, we are going back to the basic with a swim from Alcatraz to Aquatic Park. The swim will be on 13th September 2025. The cost is $210/swimmer. If you have questions about the swim ask one of the MVM coaches. More info and the signup link on our site here.
