Hello MVMers,
Alcatraz swim: Currently there are 24 swimmers signed up for the famous Alcatraz swim. Registration will close on Friday August 15th and we still have some room for more swimmers. All the info here. For those who have already signed up, San Francisco Swim is offering a free practice swim on August 24th at Aquatic Park. Please contact Coach Flo for more info.
Pool Closure Reminder: Due to a pump repair at Eagle Park we will be swimming at the Rengstorff Pool from Monday, Aug. 11 through Monday, Sept. 1. Thanks for understanding and stay tuned for any additional details if/when we get further information.
Splash and Dash reminder: You still have time to register and I’ve heard from some MVMers that they have signed up. If you’ve never done an open water swim this is a great one to start out with. It’s held at Stevens Creek reservoir and the water temps are usually quite warm considering you are not in a swimming pool. Check out the link here. Date is August 7th.
