Please RSVP by Wednesday Dec 10. There is no cost this year and guests are welcome. MVM will provide tacos, cake and non-alcoholic beverages. Feel free to bring food or drinks to share.
This year, we will be supporting Community Services Agency, a local charity providing a critical safety net to individuals and families on a low or fixed income. We will be collecting:
a) Walmart gift cards in $25 increments and/or
b) cash donations of any amount in order to help them fulfill their mission this holiday season.

Two events this coming Saturday, December 6: Kick for Time and Swim ‘n Schmear
We’ll have bagels and coffee on deck for your enjoyment after your swim workout (unless you want to eat before you workout – which is allowed). Simultaneously you can do the Kick for Time postal during the workout. No need to register. If you want to do it we’ll find you and give instructions.
Pool Closure: Reminder the pool will be closed for yearly maintenance from Dec 25 to Jan 1. The City likes to let the pool ‘rest’ every year. Other pools that might be open:
Rinconada Pool in Palo Alto
Fremont High School in Sunnyvale
Fremont Hills Masters Program in Los Altos Hills
Santa Clara Masters Swim Club in Santa Clara
USMS Registration: Reminder to register with USMS before January 1st. If you happened to register as ‘Unattached’ then please change your club to MVM. It’s really easy. Just go to usms.org and sign into your account. You will see a link that says ‘Transfer my Membership’. Should take about a minute. If you register with another club (which is totally OK) then could you let me know? This will save me time when I confirm everyone at the end of the year.
