Perk of being an MVM member: As an MVM member you can participate in the City Lap Swim program for free. We are trying a new policy as we have run out of paper lap cards. If you attend Lap Swim just show the lifeguard your current PayPal receipt for MVM membership. If you don’t pay with PayPal and think you want to go to lap swim then let me know.
Open Water Swim Event: Lake Berryessa Open Water swim will be held June 3rd. Let me know if you are interested in swimming it so that we can arrange car pooling. It a fabulous event in a beautiful, fresh water lake. And this year there should be a lot of water. They offer a 1 mile swim, 2 miles swim, and if you are feeling energetic you can do both. Lake Tahoe Relay: Let me know if you have an interest in being part of a relay team that swims across Lake Tahoe. One of our MVM members is looking for two more people to join his relay.

Upcoming Happy Hour: Next happy hour will be Cinco de Mayo+7. Or maybe Cinco de Mayo+6 so that we are not out on a Friday evening. That way we can avoid the Cinco de Mayo crowds and the Friday night revelers. Chances are our 5:30 to 7:30 soiree will still miss the revelers.
