Sand Harbor Open Water Swim: This is a beautiful open water swim at Sand Harbor Recreation Area on the shore of Lake Tahoe. Date is Sunday, August 13th. Currently eight MVMers have signed up. Make a weekend (or even a week) out of it. It’s a great open water swim for first-timers too – no current, no salt, no fish that would bite you (like a shark for example), and usually no waves.
