Speaking of Open Water Events: Coach Flo’s Annual MVM Exclusive Open Water Swim will happen on September 28th. For the third year in a row, Coach Flo is organizing an open water swim in the San Francisco Bay. If you have ever wanted to swim under the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco to Sausalito with a group of fellow MVMers, this is your chance. Saturday Workout Schedule: Quick reminder, until further notice we will only have two workouts on Saturdays – 6am and 7am. For the foreseeable future there will be no 8am workouts on Saturday.
Open Water Clinic this Saturday, June 29: Arrive at Coyote Point in San Mateo no later than 7:45am for an open water swim clinic with Coach Kate. It’s $6 per car to get in the park. Car pooling recommended. I have room for three people in my car. Reply to this email if you’d like a ride.
MVM Summer Picnic: Save the date. Picnic will be at Cuesta Park on Sunday, July 14th. Bring something for yourself to grill and something to share. MVM will provide water and soft drinks. Picnic starts around 11am and lasts until 2-3 in the afternoon. Come and go as you please. Kids welcome!
