Hello MVMers,
Summer Picnic: Our annual summer picnic is tomorrow, Sunday, July 14th at Cuesta Park in Mountain View. We will start setting up at 11am and picnic goes until mid-afternoon. Come and go whenever you want. Kids welcome. Bring something for yourself to grill and something to share. In the interest of resource conservation feel free to bring your own plate, utensils, and/or drinking glass. We will have those available in disposable form too. MVM will supply soft drinks.
Stroke Clinic: Coach Flo is holding a freestyle clinic next Saturday, July 20th from 7-8am in the shallow part of the pool. No sign up necessary. Just show up if you wan to participate. These clinics are free to all MVM members.
Saturday workouts: Reminder that for the foreseeable future there we will continue two workouts only on Saturday mornings – 6am and 7am. We hope to get our 8am workout back as soon as the City allows.
Go coaches! Coaches Misa, Liz, and Kevin are at Tahoe this weekend competing in the Tahoe Relay. The relay will swim from one side of the lake to the other, which is approximately 11 miles. Go team!
