Hi MVMers, we’re in the swing of the holiday season. Here’s what’s coming up!
Thanksgiving Swim: Thanksgiving morning will be holiday hours – 6:30 and 7:45. We will be swimming our traditional repeats. If you plan to swim the first workout then please try to arrive about 15 minutes early to pull covers so we can start promptly at 6:30. (And can you believe it, Thanksgiving is three days from now!)
Kick for Time + Swim ‘n Schmear: December 6th is the postal Kick For Time. Click here for details. We will also have our last Swim ‘n Schmear of the year on the same day – bagels and coffee poolside.
Thrice is Nice swim meet: Fun swim meet in San Leandro on December 6th. Let the coaches know if you are interested and we could facilitate with car pooling. Here are the details.
MVM Holiday Party: Another big event you don’t want to miss! Date is Saturday Dec 13, 2025 from 5:30-8:30 PM at Shoup Park Garden House, 400 University Avenue, Los Altos CA.
Please RSVP by Wednesday Dec 10. There is no cost this year and guests are welcome. MVM will provide tacos, cake and non-alcoholic beverages. Feel free to bring food or drinks to share.
This year, we will be supporting Community Services Agency, a local charity providing a critical safety net to individuals and families on a low or fixed income. We will be collecting:
a) Walmart gift cards in $25 increments and/or
b) Cash donations of any amount in order to help them fulfill their mission this holiday season.
