Monday Evening Workouts: We are continuing our Monday night workouts. They are between 6:45 and 7:45. Be prepared to put covers on the pool at the end of the workout.
Summer BBQ: Our annual summer BBQ/picnic will be at our usual spot in Cuesta Park, Mountain View, Sunday, July 13th. We will have a grill going. Plan to bring something to share – salad, appetizer, dessert, etc. and something for yourself either to grill or not. That’s up to you. MVM will supply liquid refreshments. No fee and no need to register. Just show up. Picnic starts around 11am and goes as long as people hang around. Usually mid-afternoon. Children and partners welcome.
MVM Alcatraz Swim: Since 2022, MVM has organized an annual open water swim for MVM swimmers, friends and family in the Bay Area. We have done the Alcatraz swim a couple of times and a Golden Gate swim. For 2025, we are going back to the basic with a swim from Alcatraz to Aquatic Park. The swim will be on the 13th of September. The cost is $210/swimmer. Feel free to invite a friend (or two).
